Living in her grandparents home when she was born with her parents and two siblings in Etobicoke, the west-end of Toronto. With her parents migrating from Eastern Europe. DNA mix blessed with 10 different ethnicities; Eastern european, Irish, Great Britain, Italian, Greek, Finnish, Northwest Russian, Scandinavian, West Europe, Middle Eastern West Asia embracing both Catholic and Jewish heritage. From a young age, she has loved performing - specifically singing. Between singing in the living room with her siblings and singing in her church's choir since she was seven years old, music has always had a special place in her heart.
She grew up in household neighborhoods where her influence in music was R&B, Hip Hop, Pop, Dance, Rock n Roll and Reggae especially with Toronto being home to Caribana, a Caribbean festival held every year that she would attend growing up. She grew up in a very multicultural environment and embraces this in music, versatile from pop R&B Ballads, to Dance/Dancehall pop vibes, Spanglish and World sounds, her bilingual words and vocals all in one blended melting pot instrument of who she is.

Modeling with her 5 year swimsuit model contract with Swimsuit Canada and 5x Toronto Sun Newspaper Sunshine Girl. Opening a concert of over 75000 people for Canadian VJ Master T and Kardinal Offishall, having the blessing of meeting Dalai Lama during a swimsuit charity show in Ottawa Ontario for the Childrens Wish Foundation. Making on screen movie appearances in the remaking of the Jimi Hendrix movie and Bait with Jamie Foxx, David Morse, Mike Epps and Kimberly Elise. After high school, attended Randolph Academy for the Performing Arts to study the triple threat program: acting, dancing and singing. During that time she recorded a scrappy demo of "Killing Me Softly" by the Fugees with a Notorious B.I.G beat with her brother in their basement was founded by the owner of Caribbean Sound Basin in Trinidad & Tobago at 19 years old asked her to fly out to the studio in the island to record in her first studio recording some demo mixtapes there. After Randolph Academy, attended University of Toronto to study English Literature to where she learned Shakespeare poetry and various famous poets then she learned with her unconditional faith how to write songs.
Achieved A certified Soprano Lyricist certificate at the Canadian Music Academy. In addition, earning a College Diploma in Accounting, Book Keeping & Payroll Admin which taught her how to invest all the money she makes in Modelling/Acting Fashion & Music into Real Estate. Young, in wedlock in the Dominican Republic to her husband Gilberto Garcia from the South Bronx, New York whom is also her manager. Her dress custom designed in collaboration with her, her mother and famous Hollywood designer Amy Michelson. Shortly after her wedding Icielani made a vocal appearance and performed in the TEMFEST female pop showcase, where she performed the scrappy version of "No More Tears" originaly called "Just Wanna Dance" before the song was completed but she wanted to make it more raw, gaining momentum from the fans during the performance so the song was urged to complete. Gospel music and her participation in the church choir has been ingrained in her all her life. In April 2015, she had the blessing to be the lead singer in the opening of the gospel for the Lent Gospel Acclamation with her choir "One Voice" at Cristo Reí for Mass and Holy Communion.
Officially releasing her first self titled album "Daydreams Are Reality" in July 2017 that consisted of 4 singles "No More Tears" released in May 2016, "Dreams are Reality" in June 2016, "Hands up High" in September 2016 and "Your Into Me' May 2017. Nine out of eleven of the songs on the album she has written with the 11 track she also musically wrote and just performs a piano written instrumental. Recording sessions took place in 2015 in her home studio where she studied music production with Pro Tools, continued the mixing at Signature Sound Studios in San Diego and completed the self-titled album in 2016 at Metalworks Studios in Toronto. Icielani received positive reviews for her vocal performance on the record. While performing on local interview shows and making an appearance on the TV hit series ‘Beauty and the Beast’. In December 2016, as a Christmas gift releasing "The Remixes" Vol. 1 EP from a DJ remix compilation of the two released singles "No More Tears" and "Dreams Are Reality". Following the self-titled album release in June 2017, the single "Your Into Me" reached number 2 in the emerging200 artists charts for 7 consecutive weeks on the Upcoming100 charts in June 2017 and remained in the Upcoming100 charts all the way through to March 2018.
Making Miami Beach, Florida in December 2017 her new home ringing in the 2018 new year in South Beach. Her writings are now done on the beach, in her home after a yoga class or all night when she explains has a clear free thought. Spanglish single "Baila Conmigo" released April 21, 2018 featuring her first video filmed in Miami Beach. Her new Miami sound that resonates worldwide giving her a World sound with her high vocal cords in the track makes instrumental sounds! officially aired on 99.5 the heat south beach radio. In June 2018, released single ‘So Nice’ that released with a leak Mixtape feature Welcome 2 the Future Vol. 15 (Starring YFNLucci and Drake). ‘So Nice’ featuring on the compilation album ‘Tropical House Cruises to Jamaica’ reached #1 on Billboard #7 year end Reggae album & compilation albums earning Icielani’s first Billboard Plaque Award. Dedicating single "Refugee" to all the refugees around the world. Icielani has been working with some of the music industries most top influencers. Combining her talent and smarts to bring people together in the music industry, joining movements while raising awareness. In the EP Freedom Life featuring single ‘So Nice’. Included tracks are the ‘Lyfted” Project that holds the video tribute featuring Uncle Luke. Icielani states “I want to bring people together in the music industry when we are united we succeed far greater than the gaps that new and old artists face in the industry, I called this my freedom project because music make me feel free and I want to share that with the world and also make everyone else share that same feeling, raise certain awarenesses and movements during this time its the best time for us artists to stand up together, connect on a bigger level as we are the voice of society its our responsibility. Im really happy with the outcome and support I have been receiving from everyone involved in my projects from music pioneers to new fly up and coming talents. I know what its like to be a new artist and get the short end of the stick especially being a female in this industry. With the experience I gained over the past two years I want to bridge that gap for new talents in all aspects of this project from production of the tracks and videos to the executives behind the scenes to the artists.
